This arrangmei which is in My Lords' opinion -ástisfactory, involves the following modifications of
the agreement approved 'y their Lordships of the Treasury in 1965:-

(a)
The Admiralty will cease to pay the nominal Part of 1 in respect of the Station at d'Aguilar which will be re-tmnaferred to the Colonial Government.
(b)
The Colonial Government will penge to pay the proportion of the previous contribution to Nwal finds (92,000 per annum) which represents the work hitherto done for them at the Cape d'Aguilar vivial station, The Governor of Hong Kong reports that, previous to the transfer of the two stations to the Admiralty in 1908 expenditure was apportioned between them in the ratio approximately 3 : 2 and consequently pronoseA that the Colonial Government should, from the data of re-transfer of the Cape d'Aguilar station, pay annually

r to the Naval Authorities the sum of $1.300, being
three-fifths of the sum of £2,000 in rearact of the upkeep of the Peak Station, My Lords concur in this suggestion.
(0) The Admiralty, instevi of underta' ing the sole responsibility for the maintenance of a visual station at "apo d'Aguilar, being reimbursed by a fixed con- casbution, will assume a joint responsibility for A T/T Station there, and will bear a fixed proportion of the maintenance charms in respect of naval work dof-
